Danyel Smyk DDS

Dr. Danyel Smyk was born and raised in Shelby Township, Michigan. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostic Studies from Michigan State University in 2021 before continuing his education at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2026.

From a young age, Dr. Smyk developed a strong work ethic and passion for working with his hands through over 10 years of carpentry experience alongside his father. His attention to detail, precision, and problem solving abilities ultimately led him to pursue a career in dentistry. Known for his meticulous work and dependable nature, he takes pride in doing things the right way and delivering high quality care for his patients.

During dental school, Dr. Smyk was recognized for his excellent hand skills, efficiency, and commitment to providing exceptional patient care. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their smiles.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Smyk enjoys boat days on Lake St. Clair, cabin weekends in Northern Michigan, watching Detroit sports, and spending time with family and friends.
